Do You Grind Your Teeth?

Teeth grinding usually occurs during sleep. It’s estimated that 70% of people that grind their teeth do so because of stress and anxiety.

Since the grinding of the teeth usually occurs during sleep you may not even know you’re doing it. Most people are made aware of the problem by their Dentist. It’s estimated that 1 in 3 people suffer from “Bruxism” the grinding of the teeth. The condition can result in flattened, fractured or chipped teeth. You may also experience face and jaw pain along with tooth sensitivity.

If you are experiencing any symptoms of teeth grinding schedule a dental appointment. During routine dental exams your Dentist is able to detect this condition.
